Ground Penetrating Radar

Ground Penetrating Radar is the latest technology available today.  GPR is used to locate buried structures in concrete.

Before cutting or drilling concrete, GPR can provide concrete images on the spot in minutes.

We can:
Locate rebar, plastic and metal conduits
Locate and estimate depth of post tension cables.
Determine cover depth and slab thickness.
Detect deterioration.
Discover voids and more.
Locate main power lines.
We are able to quickly survey walls, ceilings and floors even in difficult access areas.

Ferroscan

Ferroscan detects rebar and ferrous metals up to 6.5" deep.
Determines bar depth and approximate diameter.
Determines average concrete cover over large areas easily.

  Core Drilling

  • Uses machinery to cut round holes in concrete slabs and walls. These holes can be used for mechanical openings, plumbing pipes or any other need for a round hole from 1" in diameter up to 36" in diameter in almost any position or angle.
  • Ground Penetrating Radar is typically used in conjunction with this service inside of occupied buildings to prevent disruption of electrical service or to protect structural cables and or rebar.

Flat / Floor Sawing

  • Flat surface slabs or paving at up to 24” in depth .
  • Airports are our specialty!
  • 35 horse power walk behind to 72 horse power ride on saws.
  • Electric Floor Saw available for the areas that cannot have any fuel or fumes.
  • Approved in food production areas.
  • EPA approved Clean burning Diesel Scrubbers installed on some units for fast  indoor sawing.
  • Use this type of cutting for fast installation of trenches either inside or outside.
  • Other uses include: Traffic Loops, Green Control Joints, Expansion Joints, Removal of damaged slab areas and many more.

Wall Sawing

  • Utilizes a track mounted system that makes cuts through reinforced concrete up to 24” thick.
  • Typically used in concrete walls and block walls to create openings for doorways, windows or mechanical openings for duct work or ventilation.
